For the love of Grayson!

Grayson came into my life by accident. He snuck in the vesibule at church (where I work & live) and wouldn't go to our administrator Sandy -so she called me and said that she "had a situation." I went down and he immediately came to me and began to suckle on my ear. I attempted to find his original owners, but to no avail. I immediately fell in love with him and called him my own. Last Thursday I noticed he wasn't his fun-loving self at all and was not well. He looked at me as if to say, "Daddy help me." I contacted my friend Anna (who is a cat person) and she took me to Veterninary Specialists & Emergency Services. It was here that we were informed he had an urinary obstruction and required emergency surgery. That bill was $1,100 (that was surgery & 1 night in the hospital). It was suggested (in order to keep cost down) that we transfer him to his regular vet. We contacted Companion Animal Hospital and he's been there since Friday of last week. There was hope that he would come home on Saturday. He was all set to go when the doctor noticed he was blocked again. She had to catheterize him again. Because of this -it was suggested that he have a perineal urethrostomy (p.u). He would have to transferred to Pittsford Animal Hospital and it would be an additional $1600. If he were older it would hurt me to put him down, but it would be easier. He is just over 1 year and feel he has SO MUCH left in him. The cost is out of reach and am asking for your help. I wouldn't ask if I weren't desperate. Thank you in advance!!!
