The Story: "For The Love Of Gold" is an adventurous, dark comedy set against the breath taking yet unforgiving Australian bush. Our story follows Jack and Franklin—two mates looking for a way to change their lives. After days of searching, they finally strike gold, but a drunken miscommunication leaves Jack with a belly full of gold and a target on his back. What ensues is a gritty, absurd, and pulse-pounding foot chase as Jack tries to flee, Franklin pursues, and chaos descends when unsuspecting campers Ryan and Olivia get caught in the crossfire.

This film explores themes of friendship, greed, and desperation, asking the question: how far would you go to protect your dream—especially when your best mate stands in the way?

We've already made significant progress in pre-production and have managed to raise most of the funds through community investors as well as ongoing personal investment. But to bring this vision to life, we need your support. Logistics and Transportation: Western Australia is a massive state and we want to capture as much of its glorious outback as possible. This means we need to be able to move Crew and Equipment to multiple outback locations.
