For the Love of Aaron

Sadly, on October 28, 2019 Aaron Eli Cobb passed away suddenly and unexpectedly. Aaron is my son and the life partner of Rickey Travalini. He was only 34 years young. He had an irreverent sense of humor, was a voracious reader and quick learner. He played a computer keyboard like a fine Stradivarius violin. He loved animals and was truly happy in his life with Rickey and his job at the East Bay Regional Park District. His family and friends desire to celebrate the many ways in which Aaron touched our lives.

We have established this GoFundMe Page to raise money for the Memorial Park Bench graciously offered by the East Bay Regional Park District where he worked and for a Celebration of Life to be held on May 16, 2020. The location of the celebration will be in Northern California in the Bay area. We are currently looking at Tilden Regional Park. Any excess funds will be donated to the American Cancer Society in memory of his mother Brenda and the ASPCA for his love of animals.

Aaron was born February 25, 1985 in Hoffman Estates, IL. The family relocated to Pleasanton, CA in 1995 and relocated again in 2002 to Castle Rock, CO where Aaron graduated from High School in 2003. Aaron always considered himself a Californian and eventually returned there to live in Walnut Creek.
