Many of us have had the pleasure of working alongside Valerie Llavore over the past several years at El Camino Hospital. Valerie has served in many roles such as staff nurse, interim nurse educator, and most recently the Los Gatos Campus stroke coordinator. Her contributions have been beyond measure and many of us are grateful for the example she has set and the mentorship she has provided.
Over the past few years, Valerie has been caring for her husband Marvin during his battle against cancer. Valerie cared for her husband with the upmost strength and grace. Unfortunately, Marvin lost his battle this past week. On behalf of the Stroke/ Telemetry team at El Camino, we send our respects and condolences to Val and the Llavore family.
We have decided to utilize this platform in order to join together in support of Val. Our ultimate goal is to provide some solace so that Val can spend time with her children and family during these difficult days.
We thank you all for your support in helping our friend.
