For The Kajer’s

Stephen Kajer touched so many people. He was infectious, cheeky a devoted family man, had a heart of gold and would help anyone out at the drop of a hat.

He was working on the Mangaia Solar Power Project when he had a heart attack and was flown to Raro then onto Auckland.
Puni was on her way to join Steve in Auckland, but very sadly didn't get there in time. Stephen had passed away.

This sudden loss of Stephen has left Puni and their beautiful family absolutely devastated and they are struggling to come to terms with it all.
Because Stephens business is at the Cook Islands, Puni needs to return to attend to business and personal matters. Puni also told us he worked on 4 islands first mitiaro, Mauke, Atiu then to mangaia that was the last one and that she was very proud like a lot of us are of all the work he did and he will be remembered in the Cook Islands forever as a hero, a people’s hero. 

This is really hard for her, I have her permission to do this Go Fund me page so that we as her family and friends can help her to return and complete what needs to be done. They are in need of financial assistance in order to do this.

The Kajer's welcomed us when we first arrived in Australia in 2005, Karl got involved in Southern Districts Rugby Club and went on to be Club President in 2015.
During this time we felt like family to them as did so many of their friends.
Stephen always called him Papa Dix. The Kajer family means the world to us and we just want to help the best way we can. At this moment in time as well as being there for them emotionally the best thing we can think of is to help them out financially to help ease the worry of what is to come.
We need these funds as soon as possible in order for Puni to start making arrangements
