Hi, I’m Mathew, David’s son and eldest child.

unfortunately David, a father, uncle, nephew, grandson, son and cousin to many, passed away on the 11th of February in his home of Nantyfyllon Maesteg.

His cause of death is as of yet unknown, but the family are reeling for answers, and he has left an unimaginable hole in our hearts and lives.

My dad was a generous, caring, helping and considerate person. He had his demons, like anyone would, but my Dad often put others before himself. He was a class act, an amazing father, an amazing son & grandson, an amazing uncle etc.

As of right now the family are struggling to pull together the funds for his funeral. I feel shame in having to do this, but our father deserves a proper burial, a proper service. And I’m hoping make sure there is one less stress on our shoulders, so we can mourn and remember David properly.

Times are tough, and money doesn’t stretch that far these days, but if you can afford to give, please do.
