I take care of 2 colonies of cats, almost 50 cats in total. I need help to spay and neuter these beautiful ferel, abandoned and unwanted cats. I have always had the dream of opening a sanctuary for abandoned, feral, and unwanted cats in my county in the hills of East Tennessee. They say a man's pride is his downfall. I've never asked for handouts in my life; I believe in working to provide for myself and those that I love. I was doing good the past 10 years and wasn't far away from achieving what I was working so hard for. I worked 7 days a week, a minimum of 8-hour days, and a lot of 12's. And all of a sudden, my job was no more. It's turned into a struggle finding more work. I've had to live through my savings while watching what I have worked so hard for disappear, and there seems to be nothing I can do about it. I'm doing my best to keep the faith, and I'm more than willing to start over. I'm not afraid of hard work; I've done it all my life. I just pray someone gives me a chance again.
