One of our own needs our help right now. Scott Cogger is currently receiving the best care and treatment available in the country to battle a rare cancer. He is doing well, but we all know the toll that this journey takes on a family financially, emotionally and physically. It's a logistical balancing act, one that we can help with right now, today.

Scott's profound dedication to years of supporting each and every one of our families in countless ways has been humbling to say the very least. He has impacted the character, choices and values of every one of children.

Community matters. It's a lesson he taught us. Let's use that very lesson to help this incredible man and his family.

The following heartfelt words are from Scott and Robin’s daughter Madigan.

It’s not easy for me to type this, but I share this news with the hope prayers will be sent our way. On Saturday, February 26th, my family’s world was turned upside down faster than we knew was even possible. This was just the start to the diagnosis of my dads extremely rare cancer.

These past 5 weeks have been filled with sleepless nights, tears, our minds automatically assuming the worst, lots of unknowns, knots in our stomachs, & feeling a level of sadness I didn’t know existed. Scared shitless might be the most accurate description.

Every positive thought, text, call, card, flower, package, prayer, meal, hug, & shoulder to lean on has truly meant more then we can explain.

Today is a BIG day as he begins his treatment. He will be undergoing chemotherapy along with radiation everyday for the next 6 weeks in Boston. These are the first ingredients to the recipe of becoming healthy again. His doctors & surgeons say it’s serious, but treatable. He is a fighter & determined to beat this.

His team of doctors is simply AMAZING & we’re feeling extra grateful to be an hour away from some of the best in the world.

Thymic Carcinoma- you picked the wrong one to mess with. We are going to kick your ass. We know we’ve got a long road ahead of us; we’re cautiously optimistic. WE GOT THIS.
