For the family of Rashad.

Hi, my name is Jeff, and I am fundraising for the family of my nephew Rashad.

Rashad A. Knight was born on April 4, 1995. He was a loving father to his 2-year-old son Milian. To say he was a fantastic father, son and brother would be an understatement at best. Rashad had a smile that could light up a moonless beach at night. His love for his son and children, in general, was phenomenal. He would often enjoy spending weekends with his father and stepmother to spend time with his sister Valentina and his brother Xxaviar.

His hobby of fixing cars caused Rashad to become an aspiring auto mechanic. His love for people inspired him to be an artist expressing himself through graphic designs depicted in his many tattoos.

Rashad was a young man loved by many. He would give you the shirt off his back if he saw you were in need. Rashad’s love for his family had no measure. He was a doting father to his very young son. As a responsible young father, he would put his son before his own forsaking personal interest to ensure his son was picked up every day from daycare. His death has left a community of people without support. He will be forever missed by everyone who has met him and his family, who so desperately depended on his services. Rashad’s life was tragically snatched from us due to no consequence of his own. Rashad seldomly ventured out of his home apart from supporting his family, and unfortunately, he became a victim of the ongoing gun violence that plagues our city of Philadelphia today. This tragedy has taken this father away from his son, mother, father, stepmother, grandmother, siblings, and other family and friends. This devastating impact has left us with voids that can never be filled. We are all still in denial and may forever be.

Rashad was just 27 years old when he was taken from us on November 17, 2022. A young man in the prime of his life. We are hurting. And as you know, the city of Philadelphia, where Rashad was born & raised, continues to again.

This sudden tragic loss, as you know, we were not prepared for. The Janazah expenses we cannot afford it.

Please, I ask if ANYONE can help us with ANYTHING right now; it doesn't matter how much; we would forever be grateful.
