For the family of Paulette (Lucero) Shockney

This past Thursday, the world lost one of its brightest lights. One of my oldest and dearest friends passed away suddenly and decades too soon. Paulette was a rock for her beloved husband Pat, her amazing sons Elijah and Noah (who embody their parents' kindness, empathy and love), her parents and siblings, and her friends. Paulette touched so many lives in so many ways it is impossible to comprehend. Just months ago, she was glowing as she danced with Elijah at his wedding. There was always a smile when Paulette spoke of Noah, who is starting his senior year of high school. She was the ultimate caregiver. Paulette took care of so many, and now it is time for us to be the caregivers. As you can imagine, her family is facing unforeseen medical expenses, not to mention those related to her funeral, while confronting their grief. In the spirit of Paulette's endless selflessness and on behalf of her many friends, we ask that you help in any way you can.
