Laura J. (Larson) Fafard of Hopedale, MA died Monday December 21, 2020 at the Milford Regional Medical Center after an illness. She was the beloved wife of Ronald C. Fafard for 22 years; the loving mother of Ashley Fafard and the devoted daughter of Alice M. (Sanborn) Larson, all of Hopedale and the late Richard R. Larson Sr. She is also survived by her brother, Ronald Larson and his wife Moria of Northbridge, MA and several nieces and nephews. Laura was the sister of the late Richard R. Larson Jr. of Hopedale, MA.
Laura was born in Milford, MA and attended Hopedale public schools, graduating from Hopedale High School, Class of 1981.
Laura was first employed as a young woman for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts at the Department of Revenue and at the former Mass Electric Company, which became National Grid. She later became a devoted housewife and mother, her favorite goal in life.
Laura loved doing crafts at the Senior Center, but her favorite past-time was spending time with her family members, especially the trips with her daughter Ashley, to Misquamicut Beach in RI.
Laura will be missed greatly by her friends and family.
