We are completely devastated by the tragic loss of our beloved friend, brother, son and father Juan Carlos Gutierrez Figueroa who died on Wednesday, February 24th after being fatally struck by a vehicle while working on a construction site in downtown Boston. Carlos was loved by so many. Carlos was a loving and caring father to his two children, Alex and Milady, and a doting husband to his wife Rosa. I will always remember him as a generous, humble, funny, hard-working, loyal friend who enjoyed music and dance. I know many others will have memories of Carlos' contagious smile and ability to make anyone laugh.
There are no words to express how much we are going to miss Carlos; however, we must be gracious for the lives of his daughter Milady and his son Alex who must go on with the rest of their lives without their father, and for his wife Rosa, who must continue without her husband. We have created this goFund so that all of us in some way can help his family. We ask for prayers and that God give his family and his spouse strength to cope with this terrible loss of life. All proceeds will go to his wife Rosa and two children to help out during this difficult and sad time. We will greatly appreciate donations in any amount and we are grateful to anyone who is able to contribute at this time.
Estamos completamente devastados por la trágica pérdida de nuestro querido amigo, hermano, hijo y padre Juan Carlos Gutiérrez Figueroa quien falleció el miércoles 24 de febrero luego de ser atropellado fatalmente por un vehículo mientras trabajaba en un sitio de construcción en el centro de Boston. Muchos amaron a Carlos. Carlos fue un padre cariñoso para sus dos hijos, Alex y Milady, y un tierno esposo para su esposa Rosa. Yo siempre lo recordaré como un humilde, divertido, trabajador, leal y generosísimo amigo que disfrutaba de la música, el baile y de estar con sus amigos y familia. Sé que muchos demás tendrán recuerdos de su sonrisa contagiosa y su habilidad para hacer reír a cualquiera.
No hay palabras para expresar cuánto vamos a echar de menos a Carlos; sin embargo, debemos estar agradecidos por las vidas de su hija Milady y su hijo Alex, quienes han de continuar con el resto de sus vidas sin su padre, y por su esposa Rosa, quien ha de seguir adelante sin su esposo. Hemos creado este recaudador de fondos para que todos podamos ayudar a su familia de alguna manera. Pedimos a Dios que le bendiga a su familia y le dé las fuerzas para enfrentarse a esta terrible pérdida de vida. Todos los ingresos se destinarán a su esposa Rosa y sus dos hijos para ayudar durante estos momentos difíciles y tristes.
