To Support the Family of Jason Adriano

Just a few weeks before Christmas, Jason Adriano suffered a sudden stroke and was rushed to the Scripps Mercy Hospital in San Diego. He joined the Lord peacefully on December 4, 2020.

Jason had just turned 50 years old, and he lived each day with a zest for adventure. He had served in the Navy aboard the USS Kinkaid. He was an avid mountain biker. He was the heart of every holiday party, when he'd break out his guitar and sing his favorite 80s rock songs. Above all, he was tirelessly dedicated to his wife, Joy, and their two sons, Aaron (20) and Aleck (18). We're starting this fund to support Jason's wife and sons. Jason was the family's sole earner, and we hope your generosity can help relieve the financial burden of his unexpected passing.

This fund will go toward covering basic living expenses, rent, utilities, the boys' educations, and the funeral expenses, while Jason's family recovers from an unthinkable loss. Joy has had to stay strong while the hospital's Covid restrictions limited her final moments with her husband. Jason's boys have shown incredible compassion and wisdom beyond their years throughout this ordeal, all while continuing their studies at the University of California, San Diego. Anything you can contribute will be appreciated and will help give Joy, Aaron, and Aleck some peace of mind amid this tragedy.

Our family isn't sure how we're going to celebrate Christmas without Jason. But we're grateful to his medical team at Scripps Mercy Hospital, for the support from the San Diego Veterans' Affairs Office, and for the outpouring of kindness from friends, extended family, and the countless other lives he's touched. We know that he's still playing his guitar above us all.
