For the family of Ed Bledsoe

James and Emily, the grandma Melody have been confirmed deceased. The family met with the sheriffs office today and it was confirmed

 Melody  Bledsoe and the grandchildren she and Ed Bledsoe cared for were at home when the Carr fire took the lives of James (5) Emily (6) and Melody (70) as well as their home.  Melody had called begging for someone to help them evacuate but traffic on I-5 was so bad Ed couldn’t get there fast enough and the roads were closed off. 911 was also unable to send anyone into rescue them.  


I just literally am extremely heartbroken as James and my son just graduated preschool together @ Shasta College and we had the privilege of seeing Ed andthe dedicationhe had towards the babies.  I'd like to help Ed in any way possible and if you could as well.  I know this fund will not ease the pain but I would like to help reduce the aftermath effects.
