For The Culture Mural

Hi! Thank you for being here and for supporting our cause.
We feel it is important that a message of support for the Black Lives Matter movement holds a permanent and prominent space in our community here in Hamilton. We have gone through all the proper channels and had this project approved so it can be a legal and long lasting tribute to the Black Lives Matter movement and to our Black communities in Hamilton.
The mural will be designed and painted by Black artists (see their profiles on our instagram page)
We are raising money to fairly compensate these artists for their talents.
The wall is big and this mural will be impactful, but it will also take a lot of time and it is important to us that our artists are compensated for their efforts.
We are also raising funds for materials for the mural, brushes, rollers etc have been supplied through donation but we need funds for paint.
We are also open to being sponsored by a paint company if anyone out there can make that happen!!(...fingers crossed...)
This mural would not be possible without contributions from the community.
So far we have received many small donations and this warms our hearts SO much, each one of you contributing $10 or $20 makes us feel so so supported and we thank you from the depths of our hearts for it!
We can't wait to get to work on this mural, and hope you will all come by for a visit while we paint.
