Hi, my name is Kathleen Boohyun.

I am fundraising for my son Samuel’s first mission trip to Kenya. At this very moment as I write this, I feel like I am witnessing a miracle of God.

My husband, James, and I have raised Sam with prayer and love since the day he was born. He was blessed to attend a Christian school from kindergarten through middle school. I remember one day when I picked Sam up from school, he was so excited to tell me how he had received Jesus as his Savior during their weekly chapel. He said, “Mom! I want to be a missionary when I grow up.” I couldn't have been happier to hear my 10-year-old son sharing his testimony with me. As a parent, I always try to pray and dedicate Sam’s life to God whenever I am tempted to think of him as "mine."

His teenage years haven't always been easy, but I knew God would never let go of his hand. Now, God is calling Sam to join His plan. We thank God for Sam taking this step of obedience. Please pray for Samuel as he takes this first major step of faith in his life.

100% of the funds raised will be used for Samuel’s mission trip to Kenya with Mully Children’s Family Canada to help save children’s lives in Africa. Thank you very much for your generosity and your heart for God’s kingdom.
