Over the weekend as a family we in the blink of an eye had our lives turned upside down, my mother in law was rushed to the hospital, and later transferred to the icu on a ventilator, we will continue to hold out for a miracle , even though we have been told by specialists and doctors it’s now about comfort, I first want you get a chance to know Nell Schiavi as I have gotten to know her over the last 16 plus years, she’s a devoted wife, a loving mother, sister, the best mother in law anyone can ask for, so much so I consider her my mother, and friend,She’s compassionate, understanding, and has been a driven person throughout her life, Nell chose Boston university, English and education, but Nell wanted to make a difference, she chose the course and took the challenges of making a difference in kids lives who are often left out and oftentimes misunderstood those with autism, who had difficulties and learning disabilities, and she performed these tasks not as a job, but as a woman that always wanted to make a difference and gave her students the cunning ability to realize they could prosper in life. I can say she was great at what she did, and had the ability to reach her students in ways that often can be overlooked in that field of work but theres no doubt she was a star in that field. As this has come unexpected and to a woman who stands for dignity I want to be able to send her off as she deserves, currently we are not in the position to cover funeral costs and the rising medical costs. If any funds are left we will donate to a cause of Nell’s choosing, I’m asking anyone that could donate please do if you can’t please share it. To my extended Norwood family if anyone has the ability to donate it would mean the world to me, and for those that know me know for me just to create this and ask for the help was hard enough. I ask that you keep my partner Alex, his sister Adrienne, her husband Doug, and to keep all of us in your thoughts at this difficult time, thank you if you gotten this far the time you took to read this, that means just as much to me.
