On July 4th, 2025, the Campbell family experienced an unimaginable loss. Dan Campbell — beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend — passed away unexpectedly due to sudden medical complications.
Dan was the heartbeat of his family. For 36 years (just shy of their 37th anniversary in August), he shared a beautiful life with his wife, Holly. He was the proud father of five children — Kirsten, Alexander, Dominic, Ryan, and Emily — and a devoted grandfather to his two granddaughters, Paisley and Ellie, and first grandson, Carter, due in September. Whether he was cheering from the sidelines at swimming lessons, flying to Seattle to catch a Thunderbirds hockey game, or capturing moments at family gatherings with his camera in hand, Dan was always present. And his presence was a true gift.
He had a unique sense of humor — equal parts sarcastic and comforting — that brought light and laughter wherever he went. Dan lived in the moment and taught those around him to do the same. He was the kind of man who never missed a milestone and never took a single memory for granted.
The family is absolutely devastated by this sudden loss. As they begin to process their grief and plan a memorial to honor Dan’s life, we are raising funds to help cover:
• Memorial service expenses (venue, materials, etc.)
• Emergency travel costs for immediate family members
• Any unexpected expenses that arise during this time of loss
If you feel called to give, any amount is deeply appreciated. Your support will help ease the financial burden on the Campbell family and allow them the space and time to honor Dan’s memory with the love and care he so deeply deserved.
Thank you for keeping the Campbells in your thoughts and prayers.
With love and gratitude,
