In Loving Memory of Richard “Rich” Bailey

I am starting this fundraiser on behalf of my best friends, KerriAnn and Madeline Bailey, whose beloved father, Richard (Rich) Bailey, passed away suddenly. His departure has left everyone who knew and loved him in shock.

Rich was a light in every room — funny, playful, and endlessly kind. His laughter was contagious, and his spirit made those around him feel joy. While he was a loyal Mets fan, his greatest devotion was always to his two daughters. Nothing mattered more to him than Kerri and Maddi, and he was deeply proud of the strong, beautiful women they have become.

This unexpected loss has created not only a profound emptiness in their hearts but also an overwhelming financial burden. Funeral and memorial services in New York are costly, and alongside their grief, KerriAnn and Madeline are also facing rent and household expenses without their father’s support. Kerri lived with Rich in Forest Hills and cared for him faithfully, but now she and Maddi are left to carry everything on their own.

We have set a goal of $25,000 to help cover:

    •Funeral and memorial expenses

    •Burial and related costs

    •Outstanding bills and debts during this difficult transition
