For Sustaining and Fortifying

Hey all—I’m Jai (pronounced “Jay”), and I need some help. I left my teaching job a few months ago because with COVID risk, I couldn’t chance working in-person anymore due to me being immunocompromised. I’ve been actively job hunting (for remote work) and applying to places, but nothing has pulled through yet (though I remain hopeful). I’ve been crowdfunding month-to-month in the meantime, and while I’ve met those goals each time (and am immeasurably thankful to my dear friends and chosen family who have helped me in that capacity so far), I’m creating this so I have a more substantial and wider-reaching place as a bolstering to my month-to-month fundraising and job hunting grind. This will go to my monthly bills, including rent, groceries, and medicine. Usually one to “tough it out” on my own, this is fairly new to me, but times are hard. And while I know I’ll be “on the up” again soon, I admit I need help to get there. So, I’m here. Thank you once again to everyone who has helped so far, and thank you in advance to those who will join & help me along this journey. I’ve seen you all do some amazing aid through this site, so I have hopes that this will be part of that testimony, too. Let’s do this!
