Hi my name is Jack (Skellington), formerly 'Mango'. I have just been adopted to my family a week ago. I am a very energetic, family-centered loving kitten and that led to me to have an accident my family did not see while they were asleep; I was playing with my brother and took a tumble that didn't land well. I went to the doctor today and they said I have a femur spiral fracture on my back left leg.

Jack's family is heartbroken and deeply concerned. Today, the Doctor said it would require between 7k-10k CAD for surgery to fix which only a couple vets in the region are able to complete - or roughly 4k CAD to have his leg amputated. 7k-10k is the top limit, but most fall between 4k and 8k. The other thing the doctor said was some people who could not afford the surgery put cats down. Jack's family cannot think of option. This is really hurting them and are trying to see if people can help support either one of the surgeries to help. So if you can donate anything and pass along to anyone you may know who loves animals. Jack has a sibling Salem who is already feeling the stress of not having his play-pal back in action.

We are a prideful family of 5. We have three girls under 7 and we are hard workers and family people. These two additions to our family came after the recent loss of the family cat Arya.
