On the morning of November 27th, severe flooding struck the community of Ketambe, Aceh. After days of continuous rainfall, the Alas River surged with immense force, causing sudden and devastating floods throughout the entire area. The river rose so dramatically that it swept away more then 30 homes, small businesses, roads, and large stretches of land.
Ketambe is now completely inaccessible. Roads have been destroyed, and there is currently no electricity or internet connection, leaving families isolated and without essential services and supplies.
We are raising funds to support our community’s recovery and to provide emergency supplies to all affected families. Our immediate priority is to help people survive this crisis while access routes are being repaired. As conditions stabilize, we also aim to support the rebuilding of small businesses and the restoration of livelihoods.
Every donation goes directly to the families of Ketambe, who are facing one of the most severe floods in recent memory.
