Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers:

With heavy hearts, we share the devastating loss of our beloved brother, Steven James Kristof, who tragically took his own life on October 28, 2025, in Lewisville, Texas.

Born on June 21, 1954, in Oakland, California, Steve was the third son of John and Barbara Kristof. Steve's greatest happiness came from time he spent with his family and friends; through learning, sharing, teaching, and compassionate giving; and through running his own window cleaning business.

Though there will be no formal service, Steve's cremated remains will be placed with the care they deserve, honoring the remarkable and caring soul he was.

Steve’s sudden departure has left an unfathomable void in our lives. As we struggle to come to terms with this loss, we are also faced with the unexpected costs of his final arrangements, including cremation and related expenses.

Our goal is to raise $10,000 to ensure that Steve is laid to rest with dignity, without additional financial hardship on our family. Every donation, no matter the size, and every share helps us move closer to honoring his memory.
