For Sergeant Samuel McKeown and his family.

This fundraiser is for a brother-in-arms who needs our help to make it through these tough times. Sergeant Samuel McKeown is the antithesis of an Army soldier. He has shown me and countless others how the Army works. Without him, I would be trying to Marine in the wrong uniform. This is a man who always puts his family and others first. He also reminds me of my own need for faith in God. A Spanish proverb says, "Tell me who your friends are, and I will tell you who you are." I can tell you that being Sam's friend makes me a better person. If you're his friend or his soldier then you know just how much he does for others.

Now our friend, mentor, sergeant, father, and husband need our help. He has been dealing with a bad back for years but now it has given out completely. Pending further tests it appears to be slipped disks. I don't know at this time the full diagnosis but I know the timing of this incident is horrible for his family. With little else any of us can do to help I am starting this GoFundMe page to bring whatever relief that we, his extended family can bring. A little can go a long way in helping this family.
