On June 30th we will be participating in the Gold Coast Airport Marathon Fun Run. It is a 5.7km run & we will be running in honour of our loved ones. This run is an opportunity for us to come together as a community & to make a difference for victims of domestic violence & to aid in suicide awareness & prevention. We have chosen to call our team Footprints because it is the name of a famous poem that expresses that even when you feel at your lowest to know that you are not alone & that you matter. Many of us have lost friends, parents, uncles, aunties, children as a result of DV or Suicide.  We must take action now & use our voices to make a change. 50% of all funds raised will go to Livin in honour of Sahlen Nayaran & 50% to The Tara Brown Foundation.
