Our colleague Sandy has been an essential part of our department for a million years—someone we heavily rely on, learn from, and deeply care about. Recently, she experienced a sudden and life-altering medical emergency.

She is currently hospitalized and facing a long, uncertain recovery. As she focuses on healing, she is also facing significant challenges at home that make a safe return difficult without support.

We are raising funds to help prepare her home for a safe recovery and to ease the immense burden she is carrying during this time. Sandy has very little to no support outside of her work family, and she means everything to us.
