For Salesi’s Fearless Fight Against Cancer

My sweet nephew, Salesi Finau-Ika Ilaoa was diagnosed with Chronic Myeloid Leukemia in 2017 at the tender age of 7 years old. Since then, he has been fighting an ongoing battle for his life! He has had multiple rounds of chemotherapy treatments throughout the years which has been difficult on his body, but he has handled it like a champ. We are grateful for his doctors and medical treatments that have sustained his life thus far. 

Unfortunately, chemotherapy is no longer effective, and he now needs to undergo a bone marrow transplant. We feel so blessed that Salesi’s older brother, Malosi Fa’atiu Sapati Ilaoa is a donor match and that he is willing to help his brother overcome leukemia. It is a miracle!
