For Rachel and her boys in memory of Dave Clarke.
Donation protected
Last week the bottom fell out of my Cousin Rachel’s world. Her Husband, Dave, collapsed at home, and despite Rachel’s, the paramedics and the wonderful staff at the Liverpool Royal’s best efforts to save him he passed away. Dave was 37, this was totally unexpected and devastating.
Dave leaves behind his wonderful Wife Rachel (a mental health Nurse), and their two boys Daniel (10) and Joseph (6). They were his absolute world.
Tragically, Rachel and Dave have both had an unlucky year health-wise, and, as a result were already struggling financially. Life insurance had become unaffordable and so 6 months ago, they had to cancel it.
I’m setting up this fundraiser with no specific target/goal in mind. I just want to raise as much money as possible to try to make things a bit easier for Rachel and the boys, clear some of their debts, and take away some of the financial pressure Rachel is now under. So they can focus on grieving. Losing your husband is awful enough without having to worry about finances on top.
So Folks, please dig deep, and please share far and wide. Every little bit will help, even if it’s just £1 or $1. or if you are not in a position to donate, a share will go a long way.
N.B Even though the goal is in pounds, if my research is correct you can still donate in Aus $s
Thank you in advance everyone!
