Our family is going through a loss we never could have imagined. We lost my brother, Quinton, and his precious son, Kentre, and our hearts are completely broken.
This fundraiser is to help cover Q’s cremation and related expenses, along with travel costs for our parents as they travel back and forth to Las Vegas during this unimaginable time. Nothing about this was expected, and right now we are simply taking things one moment at a time while grieving two loved ones we loved so deeply.
Quinton was not perfect, but he was loved by so many, and he loved his son more than life itself. He was the best dad. The love he had for Kentre was unreal, and watching him be a father made me so incredibly proud. He was a father, a son, a brother, an uncle, and a friend to so many. He loved his community, and he carried a smile that had a way of making everyone around him smile too. To know Quinton was to love him..
Quinton had just graduated from barber school, his dream job. He worked so hard, passed his exam, and was beyond excited to start cutting hair. I had never seen him so passionate about anything, except football. We are actually waiting to receive his barber license to arrive in the mail sometime this week..
My heart is especially heavy for my mom and dad. Just three years ago, they lost our sister, Reece, on February 8, 2023. Now, on February 3, 2026, they are grieving the loss of their son and grandson, only five days before the anniversary of Reece’s passing. To lose 2 children and a grandchild is too much for any person to have to endure. Losing two children and their grandson is heart shattering. No parent should ever have to endure this kind of heartbreak, let alone more than once. Please keep them close in your prayers as they face a pain no words can truly describe.
A GoFund Me has also been started to help with Kentre’s funeral arrangements and counseling for his mom. She is going to need the support during this heartbreaking time.
If you feel led to donate, share, or simply pray for our family, it truly means more than words can express. Thank you for your kindness, love, and compassion as we try to navigate the days ahead.
