For Preston Vang

We are overwhelmed with the support from our community. Though your action may feel small, it gave Preston hope in ways he did not think were possible. We thank you for sharing and donating to help him out. We reached our goal from personal donations directly to Preston himself and from this GoFundMe in less than 24 hours. We raised our goal to $5,000 as Preston's medical bills will still need to be paid out of pocket. We appreciate you all so much and cannot thank you enough!

Hi, my name is Kathy and I set up this GoFundMe to help raise money for my boyfriend, Preston Vang, to help pay for his medical bills. As someone who grew up with parents who took care of my needs and made sure I was never worried about money, I cannot imagine the stress this is on him. Preston was raised and still lives with his grandmother who is retired and cannot work. Preston is always the first one to help other people when they are in need, I think it is about time we are there for him. Preston had an accident which ended in him dislocating his left knee, a broken ankle, and fracturing his foot. 

To many this might not be a huge thing to worry about, but Preston is going to need surgery which will cost around $40k since he does not have insurance. It has been a difficult process due to rules and restrictions since this is a preexisting condition. No insurance will cover any costs no matter how nominal. 

Preston is so humble, hardworking, and loving to EVERYONE. He is unable to work at the moment and is currently awaiting his surgery. Because of this, it puts a huge financial burden on him. Hopefully, within a few weeks, he can return to work, but that will not be enough. Your donation will help pay off the start of his medical bills as he will be recovering and not working.
