Hi, my name is Melissa Berry and I have created this go fund me to help my dear friends and the woman who I consider my second mother Louise Hunt and Peter Nauss. Their house tragically burned to the ground in the early morning of June 6, 2025. It was Peter's family home which only adds to the devastation. They only escaped with the clothes on there back and I am very thankful that they are ok, physically. The mental burden is enough to bear so I wish to lighten the financial burden in any way I can. Their car keys, glasses, wallets, clothes, everything was lost in the fire.

I have known Louise for more than 25 years and have babysat her kids when they were young. They are wonderful, amazing people that would give the shirts off their back to anyone in need and are always willing to lend a helping hand. So I want to help them. They are not the type of people to ask for help so I am doing it for them.

I know things may be hard for everyone right now but any small amount will help. They have insurance but that won't come for some time and it won't cover everything that was lost.

My heart aches for the loss of their home and all the memories it contained so I want to do whatever I can to help ease the pain and stress in whatever way I can.
