I am about to do something that is incredibly difficult for me to do…I’m asking for help.
In all the years I’ve shared my dogs and their stories here, I have only asked for help one other time, for Mollybear, when she needed cancer treatment. And now, I’m asking you to help me do it again. This time, it’s for Paris.
Paris came into my life as a stray in Miami. I don’t know what her life looked like before she found me. I don’t know who loved her, who failed her, what she endured, or how she ended up alone. But I know what I want her life to look like from this point forward.
I want her to have a future.
Paris needs cancer treatment, and the cost is significant. I won’t pretend that asking for this kind of help comes easily to me. It doesn’t. But I also can’t look at this little dog and decide that the price of saving her life is too much.
Because Paris is not a number on an estimate.
She is not the circumstances she came from.
She is not a stray anymore.
She is a dog who is loved.
And if there is a chance to give her more time I want to give her that chance.
I did this for Mollybear. And I am going to do everything I can to do it for Paris, too.
I know there are countless dogs who need help. I know everyone is stretched thin. And I know asking people to care about one more dog is a big ask.
But I believe Paris’s life is worth fighting for.
I hope you do too. ❤️
