My name is Yeraz Sarkissian and I live in Los Angeles, California. On October 16, 2020, my beloved cousin, Garik Manukyan, tragically passed away while serving as a military doctor for the current war that has been raging in Artsakh. He was only 26 years old, leaving behind his wife, newborn daughter, brother, and parents. He passed as a result of a missile attack in the fields, as he was saving injured soldiers. Garik had high hopes to extend his studies to become a trauma surgeon. He will forever be a hero to his nation and his family.
