Our dearly departed Rhodora Ang was first admitted to Paradise Valley Hospital, her place of work, on her birthday June 11,2021 for a fluid buildup in her abdomen. After receiving paracentesis to drain the fluid, she was discharged and within a day of being back home, was forced to go back to the hospital for pain related to her stomach. On June 28,2021 Rhodora was placed on hospice after being told her kidneys were failing as a result of the chemotherapy, she had been undergoing for the past 4 years which had caused the excess buildup of fluid in her body. Her medical team decided to suspend all her chemo treatment and send her home to live out the remaining time she had on this Earth around her loved ones. Despite the shocking news, Rhodora never allowed herself to stop fighting. Spending her final weeks at home being assisted by her loving friends and family she finally lost her battle on July 19, 2021. She passed away in the presence of her family after suffering from a heart attack. She is survived by her husband Benito Ang, her three children Allan Reid Ang, Alvin Rey Ang and Aron Roi Ang, her only grandson Dylan Andre Ang, her siblings and most specially her mother Pelarta Resuello. She may be gone but she is leaving behind a world that has been touched by her healing hands. Having been a nurse at Paradise Valley Hospital for 15+ years, she trained many nurses and helped countless patients in their time of need. She was truly an angel to those around her and now she will forever be an angel to all.
