Urgent - Lindsay’s relentless battle with Stage 4

For the time being Lindsay is asking that this not be posted or shared publicly on social media platforms. Thank you in advance for respecting this wish.
We are the friends of Lindsay Barrowcliffe and we have been blessed to have enjoyed a lifetime of loving friendship with this charismatic, intellectual, supportive, hilarious and loving soul. We have watched our beloved Lindsay relentlessly fight against cancer for three years, with small victories always shaded by new and complicated difficulties. She has always remained stoic through this journey, we find ourselves in awe of her strength, although we always knew she was the "baddest" of the badasses… that’s what we have always loved most about being under her wings.
In August of 2020, Lindsay was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer, the most aggressive breast cancer which has fewer treatment options than other types of invasive breast cancer. She also carries the genetic mutation for this cancer, which adds another layer of obstacles to overcome. Lindsay has bravely exhausted all options after four different chemotherapies, three surgeries and rounds of radiation.
This type of cancer and genetic mutation means that the cancer can easily metastasize elsewhere in the body, and it now has. Lindsay is investigating what potential options are left, one being a parp inhibitor that may offer her a good chance of survival. At this point, our Lindsay requires treatments to stay alive. These treatments and alternative therapies come at a great cost, some of which are fully unknown at this time, as we are in the beginning stages of looking outside of the box.
Our goal is to ensure that Lindsay has the funds necessary to access whatever few medicines and therapies are now available here and abroad, as well as to ensure she has the ability to support herself and her two beautiful young children, Charley and Kingston through this journey. Daily life for Lindsay means keeping herself alive, there is no therapy without side effects and risks, staying positive and being able bodied enough to endure treatments and be the mother, daughter, sister and friend she wants and needs to be.
Any amount you're willing to contribute towards our goal would be greatly appreciated, and if you aren't able to contribute funds at this time, a private share, as we are respectfully electing to keep this off of public social media, with your friends and family would mean the world to us and most importantly, help save a precious life.
