Kia ora Whānau and friends,

As many of you know, our Mum has faced countless medical challenges over the years, but through it all, she has shown us a strength and resilience that inspires everyone around her. Her courage in the face of adversity has never wavered, and even when the road was tough, she always found a way to push forward with love and grace.

Mum has not only been the heart of our family, but she has also been a beacon of compassion and kindness. She has an incredible ability to make others feel seen and cared for, always putting the needs of those around her before her own. Her love has been a steady light, and her quiet strength has carried us through difficult times.

It is with heavy hearts that we share Mum’s health has now reached a point where her time with us is limited. While we are heartbroken, we are focusing on cherishing every moment we have left with her, and honoring the immense love, kindness, and compassion she has always shown us.

In the time ahead, we are facing the emotional and practical challenges that come with saying goodbye.

Any support, whether big or small, will help lift some of the burdens we are carrying, allowing us to focus on being with Mum and surrounding her with the love and care she has so generously given to all of us. We are deeply grateful for the outpouring of love and support we’ve already received from so many of you. Your kindness and compassion mean more to us than words can express, and they give us strength as we walk this difficult journey together.
