Celebration of Life Event for Joe Vaughn -
One of Joe’s best qualities was his knack for making you laugh out loud. He sought to bring joy, lift sadness, and help those in need.
Last August, Joe went into emergency care at Sutter Hospital and was diagnosed with an abscess in his brain. For five weeks he fought to survive but on September 14th this wonderful man passed from this earth. Joe was gently laid to rest next to his father, Neil Vaughn in the Davis cemetery.
The legacy he left behind shines on in the good works he did. Joe was a Reiki Practitioner and into holistic healing. He also volunteered at the Davis Community Church – Young at Heart, Davis Community Meals, Yolo Hospice, and Atria Covell Gardens.
His presence and laughter are truly missed. For this reason, we will come together to celebrate his life by sharing memories of Joe with personal stories, laughter, pictures, music, and food.
To help offset the cost of this event this GoFundMe page has been set-up and will be open to receive donations until July 19, 2019.
