Our grandmother had an unexpected fall on 8/01/23 that resulted in a broken femur. On top of an infection she has been battling. She has undergone the first surgery so far, which resulted in placing a rod to stabilize her until the infection clears up. As many of you know our grandmother is our rock that holds our family together. My grandma has always been a dedicated housewife and mother while our grandfather is a retired Army Veteran. We have been fighting for insurance and social security for her but keep being denied. We all know even as a retired Army Veteran and Social Security is barely enough to pay the bills. All of our grandmothers health care is coming out of their pocket. We want to help our grandparents live as worry free as possible. This is merely one step in the things we are doing to help. Any help and many prayers are appreciated!
