For our dear Manjit Uppal's memory

Today is a sad day for all of us who loved Manjit Singh Uppal (Mani bhaji).  He left this world today unannounced leaving behind his mother, wife, sisters and all brothers from Milwaukee. He was one of a kind soul, that is hard to come by in this world. His peaceful, pure heart, joyful personality will always be missed. This is a such a tragic loss for us to bear.  I'm sure each all of you have unique memories of him about him where he made a meaningful impact in your life.

But this is Waheguru's will, even though difficult but we have to bear it. Please do ardaas for bhaji's soul to rest in peace and pray to give strength to family to accept this reality. Guru Granth Sahib ji teaches us:

Ghalae Aavehi Naanakaa Sadhae Outhee Jaahi ||1||

Those who are sent, come, O Nanak; when they are called back, they depart and go. ||1||

This is the time for bhaji to depart, because of Waheguru's will. Since we all are settled at different geographical areas away from Milwaukee. It is extremely hard for us to mourn with the family and provide our condolences. I'm starting this fund in memory of bhaji, and allowing opportunity to others who are far away to contribute.  Once complete, we will hand over these funds to his family.
