On behalf of our family, I'd like to start by thanking all the amazing people in Wayne's life. The outpouring of support from his friends, colleagues and clients has been beyond measure. We are so appreciative and grateful for your help and well wishes. This fundraiser is being set up at the request of Wayne's community. Thank you.

On September 7th, 2022, while playing pickleball (a sport that he recently took up and loves), Wayne went into cardiac arrest after suffering a massive heart attack and has been hospitalized ever since. Although he can open his eyes, yawn and make slight movements in his body, he remains unconscious. Breathing and feeding tubes have been placed to make Wayne more comfortable while we wait for him to gain consciousness. We remain hopeful in his recovery.

As of October 7th, Wayne is being cared for at Barlow Respiratory Hospital in Whittier. Visiting hours are between 10am-8pm daily; only 2 visitors are allowed in at a time and proof of vaccination is required.

We apologize if our communication has been lacking, but we intend to post updates on his condition on both this page and Wayne’s Facebook account.
