Sharing on behalf of my Auntie Lollie Curley's post:
Our hearts are shattered with the passing of our sweet sister, loving wife, loving mom, daughter, niece, aunt, precious grandma, great grandma and friend, Shadi’ Lucy Johnson. After battling Covid-19 for weeks, we suddenly and unexpectedly lost my dear sister. She fought as hard as she could until the very end and made her journey home yesterday, December 7, 2020 in Scottsdale, AZ. At the age of 67, our Lord called my sister to heaven where she was reunited with our beloved parents, our older brother, our sisters and passed loved ones.
My sister Lucy was a very hardworking wife and mother. Her pride and joy were her family first and foremost. She married the love of her life Larry Johnson on February 2, 1974. They were married for 46 years and had 3 beautiful children and 3 beloved grandchildren. She is survived by her husband Larry Johnson, her daughter, Almeta Johnson, her sons, Kevin Johnson and Ryan Johnson, and her beloved grandchildren Keithan Johnson, Mackenzie Lia Johnson and Jack Robison. She had an unbreakable bond with her grandchildren and adored and loved being a grandma. She cherished every second and all the memories she made with her grandkids.
As our hearts are still healing, we begin the process of saying goodbye once again to another dear sister. Lucy is survived by our siblings: Eric Billy (deceased), Gladys Billy, Margaret Billy (deceased), Marilou Williams, Jerry Billy, Lollie Curley, Clarence Billy and Leroy Billy. We will all miss our sisters company, her laugh, her big heart, her hugs and her big smile that she always greeted everyone with.
As our family and kids come together, we have begun the process of making final arrangements. We have arranged private graveside services at Desert View Cemetery on Friday, December 11, 2020 at 10am (MST).
At this time, we are accepting donations. We are also accepting any curbside donations at Eric Billy’s residence these next few days.
We are asking for your support during this time for our family. We know times are difficult and any donations will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
