For Opal, My Mom, My hero

     Happy new year to all my friends and business partners in CA. and the U.S. May this note find you and your family blessed and healthy.

     As many of you know I left CA. , my career as an audio engineer in tv, and my friends for a season to assist my mom in Ga. who is now 92. As it turns out she really needed me.

     Update: In the past year Mamma has had heart issues,  3 UTI's, compressed vertabrae due to a fall and was  in rehab for three months, a mini-stroke, and several other issues in her body. Needless to say, we have had many visits to hospitals, and  dr's offices.
I still remember seeing her on the floor with a pool of blood when she hit her head as she fell. we have seen lots of miracles. we are so blessed. she is a tough lady.

     Mamma is now in a nursing home as she can't take care of herself 24/7. Thats why I'm here. It has  been a challenging year but's it's my honor to be here for mamma physicallly, emotionally, and financially. She has all her life loved and helped so many, which brings us to this letter.

     I' ve been looking for work in my field but there is nothing in this rural community, which means I need to travel to work in sound, which is fine but my home base is here to protect her. I'm also looking for any work I can get in this area but nothing solid yet.

     I'm also considering going back to school and reinventing the wheel, but until I can turn the ship around, here's what I need.

    First, your prayer support for mom.

    Second, I need work and do whatever it takes to continue paying the bills and living exspenses.
I had much rather be on the giving than receiving end as  you who know me well know that's who I am.

    I came home to hellp Mamma, now I find myself needing help to continue helping her.

    Third, If you can contribute a finandcial gift, that would be greatly appreciated until I can turn this ship around.

    Any contribution will go toward medical bills, loans taken out and debts we have incurred during these past several months. Also, living exspenses and taking care of moms home  which I bring her to as often as I can.

    This month is critical and time is of the essence just to pay the electric bill, etc, and what's needed to keep her home  current.  Whithout help I don't have the funds to pay this months bills, as I have exalsted my savings and funds to keep us going for this past year.

    I miss all you guys very much but am needed here for now, excelpt for work out of town when it comes up, but this is my home base.

    My sister told me over a year ago, If you ever can be there for mamma, now is the time. That was proven true. Now I need your help. First prayer, which is most important, second, work, any ideas let me know, third, finacial gift to weather this opportunity to help someone very special.
