At four and a half months old, Olympia was diagnosed with Severe Combined Immunodeficiency (SCID), meaning her immune system did not work. The treatment was a one off Bone Marrow transplant from her Dad (Nik Bojanic), with a round of Chemotherapy to reduce the risk of her body rejecting the new immune system provided by the transplant. Three months after being admitted she is slowly improving and hoping to be home by April.
