Hi my names Olive!

I’ve been with my mum Julia for most of my life. At 7 months young, only two months after my forever mumma found me I started to develop very strange symptoms. We soon knew that something was very wrong. We went to the vets who were all so helpful but unfortunately no one could give us answers. My next journey was to the specialist where my mum spent every last dollar she had trying to make me better. They did a bunch of tests, I was in there for days, eventually I got prescribed some medication. I started to get better slowly and things looked good for about 6 months… until the tremors returned. Two other trial medications later and I’m now 2 years young. I’m now at the stage where I need to see a neurologist and this is where me and my mumma need YOUR HELP! My mum has exhausted all of her savings on the constant blood tests, emergency visits, veterinary checks and medications refills. That to be able to afford this journey is almost impossible. So that’s where you come in. My mums not sure of the exact figures but she knows the MRI alone is $2500-$5000+, which isn’t necessarily going to give us any answers, then whatever treatments or test come after that. If brain surgery is on the cards I can’t even imagine the costs.. We are both here to ask you ever so kindly to lend a helping hand to get Olive closer to a cure or treatment that works. This has and will continue to be a long and difficult journey. We are just so blessed to have such an incredible surrounding of beautiful people and furry friends to keep our heads screwed on. I’m sad it’s had to come to this but sometimes you just have to put your pride aside and ask for help.
