**Odie's Story** (from Lily's POV)

On Halloween of 2024, on my way to drop my daughter off at school, a scrawny lil stray dog walked up to my car until he was out of view. I slowed down as my daughter kept yelling, "MOM! WE HAVE TO TAKE HIM! MOM!" Because I couldn't see him, I came to a full stop (so I wouldn't run him over) and then the lil dog walked up to my daughter's side of the car. I panicked and said "OKAY, GRAB HIM!" She opened her door and picked him up. I didn't know what to do. sooo.. I called Diane to ask for advice. She offered for her daughter to dog sit until the end of the day when I was supposed to pick up the pup and figure it out. Later on in the day, Diane and her daughter decided they would keep him. When they took him to the vet, they found out he's between 14 and 20 years old. He's an old dog, so they named him "Odie." He's been in their care ever since. ❤️‍
