For Nurses on Leigh Ward, East Surrey

We are hoping to raise money to make the lives of the nurses on Leigh Ward at East Surrey Hospital easier.
Dad has been under their care for 4 weeks now. They have become our extended family. Nothing is too much for them.
They sit and chat to dad all the time, making sure he is never alone, they wash him as he is bed bound they even cut his hair and give him a shave just to smarten him up.
They do this for all their patients not just dad. They are an absolute godsend.
Recently we found out they have to supply most of there own stuff like tea and coffee, pens and torches. They even by razors so they can regularly shave the men in there. The nhs razors are so bad.
We we are hoping to raise money to buy them an infrared vein finder for the ward. They are around £300. My dads veins have been a mission to find and this would make it easier for them.
as a family we are putting together a huge hamper for them to include. Tea, coffee etc, pens, torches, hairdressing clippers, biscuits, sweets, shower gels, shaving foam, soaps, sprays and whatever else we can think of for them to use themselves or on the patients they care for daily.
