Hi, my name is Erick Reveles and I am the son of Nestor and Mona Rodriguez the owners of d'coffee bouteaque. As some of you may know, a fire ignited In the commercial building where d’ Coffee Bouteaque and three other businesses were on April 14, 2024. All four businesses, including d’ Coffee Bouteaque were completely engulfed in the fire.
My mom and dad moved to California from Las Vegas, Nevada to chase their dreams of opening up their own restaurant. For a lot of my young years I remember seeing how badly they wanted to chase this dream until finally they moved to where they wanted to retire and spend their golden years where they loved, and share their dream with everyone. When they were finally faced with opening up d'coffee bouteaque I saw the outpour of love and passion they put into their business and I was very happy to see that the community felt it from them since day one. d'coffee bouteaque seemed to be almost an overnight success at Palm Desert and I attribute that success 100% to the great care my parents put into their business. I know that people saw this from them, but what nobody saw were the 15 years of struggles my parents went through to open d'coffee bouteaque. Seeing the tragic event that happened breaks my heart and I can only imagine how they feel, especially after seeing how hard they worked day in day out to achieve and share their dream with everyone.
I want to start this gofundme because as resilient as my parents have been over the years, I know that they're going to need all the support they can get to recover from this tragic event. Both of them are now at retirement age and they're both going to be feeling this loss greatly because they lost their full time job that paid for all of their bills, food, and healthcare needs.
