For Nathanael & Family

Donation protected
Very hard for me to have to actually write this.  Makes this sad news more real.   My son Nathanael just got diagnosed with Leukemia last Friday the 11th of October. Something I wish upon no one.  The worse thing for a mother to hear.  Even  more devastating is knowing what my son will endure in the next months maybe longer.  His siblings Joshua, Amelia and Noah are so sad and shocked and not sure how to take this news. His dad also is shocked.  Dr. Bettencourt is optimistic and said Nathanael needs to be admitted on Tuesday the 15th Oct.  for one month for agressive chemo.   Dr. Bettencourt  told us that after this month of chemotherapy,  that it  will reverse and be on the path to  remission.   And after remission Nathanael will need therapy to prevent a relapse.   Hopefully Nathanael can go home and have chemo treatment as an out patient.  I have shared this news with  all my family and close friends and told my friends that they can also share.  I feel this is something we can not keep a secret within the family, because Nathanael needs all the prayers and the good energy everyone has to give. He needs the best vibes possible!   I have taken a leave of absence from work to be with my son.  Being a single mother,  I now face the fact that I will no longer be financially stable.  But no matter my financial situation I need to be there for Nathanael.

To Nathanael,  you are young and strong and you will beat this! Let's kill those bad cells! ( I want to call them something else but may be inappropriate for this letter)    We will all be there, right by your side!  Let the adventure begin!  Love so much Nathanael.  We All love you so much!!
