My name is Angie and I had the pleasure of meeting Nakida at a breast cancer awareness photoshoot. As a mother who also had breast cancer, with Nakida’s blessing have started a GoFundMe to help alleviate costs as she faces another challenge in her cancer journey.

Right now, she is facing stage 4 breast cancer that has spread to her brain.

She is scared—especially for her children. As a single mom, they are her whole world. She is their everything, and they are everything to her. Even in the hardest moments, she continues to show up for them with so much love.

She has always been independent and isn’t used to asking for help. But right now, any support—big or small—would mean so much.

Funds raised will go toward childcare, healthcare, groceries, and anything else she chooses that can help make this journey a little easier and less overwhelming for her and her kids.

We are holding onto hope, one day at a time.
