For my Stinker

Hi friends! So, today was a terrible Wednesday. Tyson had been sick for 36 hours at this point and basically getting sick anytime he would move at this point. He wouldn’t eat, move, or act the same, but was drinking lots of water. Tyson is basically my first child, so I took him to the emergency vet when I realized this wasn’t just an upset stomach. We got there, and he was sick twice right there in the waiting room. They moved him to the “urgent” list due to how hard he was pushing to breathe, and he was seen pretty quickly after that. The doctor ran some tests and confirmed he had a foreign body in him. My stinker but got into something, just got sure what it is. Well, when they showed me the paper of how much this necessary surgery was going to cost I about fell out of my skin. $8500 was the price I’m looking at, but I would do anything for my boy.

on the flip side, as they were running Tyson’s tests, I got a call from my twin sister. She had been waiting on some results from a biopsy she received recently. She was diagnosed with Thyroid Cancer. Two whammys in one go. The poor doctor walked in and I was sobbing, he just hugged me and brought me water after knowing why I was crying so hard.

the reason I started this Go Fund Me is not only to help raise money for my stinker, but I also am going to be making the trip to and from East Tennessee in a 3 day span with this large bill under my belt. Funding my gas tank and food with $8500 to pay isn’t easy so I’m asking for help. I am not the person to get assistance. I would rather work my tail off to try and earn it, but I’ve had a large number of people tell me to do this, so here I am swallowing my pride.
